Liverpool Barcola Premier League alternative slapped with £70 million valuation

Liverpool have identified two alternatives within the Premier League, if they are unable to pick up Bradley Barcola.

The links with Iraola’s Bournemouth signing from January, Rayan have been dominating alternative conversations in recent days and were one of the names shared in the Daily Briefing again today.

Another potential Premier League target has also been named in the form of Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh.

It has also been revealed that Brighton would only consider letting the winger leave the south coast club for a fee in the region of £70 million.

Liverpool’s winger hunt

Liverpool have been linked with a variety of wingers since the departure of Mohamed Salah was announced in March.

In recent weeks the rumours have mostly centred around PSG winger Bradley Barcola, who has told his club that he wouldn’t sign a new contract with the Champions League winners when the time comes.

In the last 24 hours, interest has also been reported in 18-year-old PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye. The links indicate that the youngster would prioritise a move to Liverpool over any other offers that are being tabled currently.

Prior to these two PSG links, there were rumours that Liverpool were closely linked to Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig. While the links were strong, interest from Real Madrid and a hiked financial price from Leipzig appear to have put Liverpool off the deal.

This is where these Premier League links fall in. Iraola knows Rayan incredibly well, having been part of the transfer team that brought him to the Premier League and also coaching him for six months.
