David Ornstein has shared that Liverpool will use their US tour to put four youngsters in the shop window, which will hopefully see them go out on loan following the preseason tour.
Ornstein reported the news in his Dealsheet segment on The Athletic.
The loans would allow these youngsters to receive valuable experience playing first-team football.
What has Ornstein reported on loan exits
Ornstein shared, “Hungarian goalkeeper Armin Pecsi has joined Austrian side Hartburg on loan for the season. Liverpool are also expected to include the likes of Luke Chambers, Calvin Ramsay, James McConnell and Ifeanyi Ndukwe in the U.S. trip and will then listen to loan offers later in the window.”
Liverpool will play three games in their US tour, starting with a game against Sunderland on Saturday.
The tour will give new manager Iraola a chance to get a look at his wider squad, while some members of the first team still make their return from World Cup action.
Ornstein also added, “A number of clubs in Scotland are interested in Ramsay, while Championship side Queens Park Rangers like Chambers.”
Luke Chambers has been on loan across the last four seasons, playing in the Scottish Premiership, League One and last season played for Charlton in the Championship.
Calvin Ramsay has also spent time in Scotland and also had spells in League One and the Championship.
Both of these players have been on a number of loans that Liverpool will want to see them reach the peaks that could either see them sold for a reasonable price or make it into the first team.
