Liverpool have the option to re-sign Jarell Quansah for €70m in the summer of 2027 after selling him to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025.

Real Madrid want Liverpool target Jarell Quansah
Quansah has developed quite well in Germany and is a key player for Bayer Leverkusen.
He has also established himself as a regular for England under Thomas Tuchel and made a handful of appearances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
And now, BILD report that Real Madrid are seriously interested in signing him in 2027 as they appreciate his ability to play across the backline.
Liverpool inserted a buyback clause with the view of re-signing him, but their pursuit of him could well depend on Ronald Araujo.
The Uruguayan has impressed since joining from Barcelona, so the Reds may be forced to choose between Araujo and Quansah next summer.
