Liverpool are reportedly unlikely to land AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, with the Italian club demanding €70 million for their prized asset.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Italian international in recent weeks but Milan are desperate to keep hold of the promising goalkeeper this summer.
According to reports in Italy, as covered by Calciomercato, the Reds were willing to part with a total of €40 million in their efforts to land Donnarumma as they aim to bolster their goalkeeping options.

However, Milan are understood to be refusing all proposals under their valuation of €70m for Donnarumma, who is set to be hot property once again this summer.
Liverpool have encountered their fair share of goalkeeping issues in the last two years and this problem prevailed in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Loris Karius made two, high-profile errors to gift Real Madrid goals in their 3-1 win over Liverpool in Kiev. Perhaps this encounter could prove to be the catalyst in the Reds stepping up their efforts to land a new goalkeeper.
