Liverpool have been handed a double injury boost with the news that both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are set to be fit to face Tottenham this Sunday.
Alexander-Arnold missed the midweek Champions League win over Genk as he was suffering with a virus, so James Milner started at right-back as the Reds hammered the Belgians 4-1.
In that same game, Robertson picked up a knock and was taken off around the hour mark, with Joe Gomez coming on to replace him.
However, any doubts that the pair could miss Sunday’s clash at Anfield have been squashed as Jurgen Klopp, speaking at his pre-game press conference, told reporters that both of his first-choice full-backs will be “fine” to feature in the game.

The Reds have arguably the best pair of full-backs in Europe so to have them both fit for the Spurs game is a huge boost.
Klopp’s options behind Robertson and Alexander-Arnold are fairly limited, with the likes of Gomez and Milner playing out of position the only experienced back-ups to the two starters. Therefore, keeping the Robertson and Alexander-Arnold is vital, so to have them fit for Sunday is a huge boost.
