Ben Woodburn has returned to Liverpool for treatment on his ankle after he injured it whilst training with Sheffield United, the club he is spending the season with on a loan deal.
The 19-year-old, as per the Liverpool Echo, was spotted wearing a protective boot as he attended Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.

The Echo are reporting that Woodburn will be out of action until 2019 and as such, he won’t feature for the Blades over the busy Christmas period.
The Welsh international has found game time hard to come by during his spell at Bramall Lane but he’d have been hoping to get involved over the festive period as the games come thick and fast.
However, the injury will mean he sits out for at least the next three weeks and possibly even longer.
