Steven Gerrard is looking to snap up departing Liverpool defender and Celtic target Jon Flanagan this summer.
Paul Joyce reports that the defender, who has been told he will be released by the Reds, is a target for Rangers.
Flanagan spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton after falling out of favour at Anfield.

Once a bright prospect, off-the-pitch problems have seen Flanagan struggle to break through at the club.
Gerrard is said to be keen to offer the player the chance to get his career back on track.
The move may appeal to Rangers, who are working on tight budgets this summer, with no transfer fee involved in the deal.
Flanagan becomes the latest Liverpool player to be linked with a move to Rangers this summer.
He could follow the likes of Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria, who have both been linked with moves to the Scottish side.
