Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has called on his teammates to develop some consistency, the Independent reports.
The Reds have been in good form recently but have often been frustrated this season. Jurgen Klopp’s men ran riot on Saturday afternoon, brushing aside Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
A brace from Roberto Firmino, goals from Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho, along with an own goal from Lewis Dunk helped Liverpool to a 5-1 win.
Overall for 90 minutes we played very well, controlled the game with the ball, scored some brilliant goals and defensively I thought we were solid. It was a brilliant second goal on the counter-attack. The front three, Salah, Firmino and Coutinho – fantastic goals.

Henderson is now hoping that the Reds can carry this form into their midweek clash, with an important night of Champions League football awaiting them.
So overall we’ve got to keep that going as a team. It’s a big game in midweek and we need to keep the momentum going.
Liverpool welcome Spartak Moscow to Anfield in their final game of the group stage and are still not over the line ahead of the round of 16. Henderson and his men are sure to be keen on carrying their current momentum into this fixture.
Henderson is in line to captain Liverpool in their crunch clash, and is certainly looking to impress.
