Sadio Mane had as good a debut season at Anfield as anyone could’ve hoped for following his move from Southampton, netting 13 goals and laying on six assists in just 27 Premier League appearances.
The Senegalese winger is primed to be one of Liverpool’s most important and valuable players heading into next season and Jurgen Klopp has been quick to bring in support for Mane with the addition of Mohamed Salah from Roma last month.
That being said, Mane is being linked with a move away from the club just a year after his arrival, with Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy (h/t Inter-News.it) reporting that Inter Milan have named Mane on their shortlist of potential winger targets this summer.
Inter are bracing themselves for the potential departure of Ivan Perisic this summer, with Manchester United among those interested in the Croatian, and are eyeing a move for Mane should Perisic leave.
It’s believed that Klopp regards Mane as ‘unsellable at any price’, making a departure from Anfield this summer near enough impossible.
Mane, 25, will hope he can avoid injuries next term and build on what was an impressive maiden season on Merseyside.
