Liverpool agree deal with Monaco over the signing of Fabinho

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Monaco over a deal to sign Fabinho this summer, RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi has confirmed.

News has emerged throughout the evening indicating that Fabinho is set to complete a move to Anfield this summer, with the two clubs closing in on an agreement over a big-money move.

Fabinho is understood to be keen on securing the move to Merseyside, as he finally looks set to land his big move to the Premier League.

Manchester United had been keen on Fabinho in previous transfer windows, whilst Atletico Madrid were also touted as a potential destination for the player this summer.

However, it appears as though Fabinho will making the switch to Liverpool this summer, with the Times’ Paul Joyce confirming the news that the Brazilian is likely to join the Reds for an initial fee worth just under £40m,

Fabinho is set to join as Emre Can’s replacement, with the German ready to sign for Juventus in the coming days.
