A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting to the Reds’ attacking starting lineup away to Southampton this evening.
The Reds head to St Mary’s looking to bounce back from consecutive draws against West Brom and Newcastle United.
It has been a disappointing mini-run from Jurgen Klopp’s champions, but a win tonight can still put them three points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Klopp’s starting lineup has been revealed, with some eye-catching choices from the Liverpool manager.
Jordan Henderson starts at centre-back alongside Fabinho, in a surprise move, while Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson make up the back-line.
There is a first start since October for Thiago, which is hugely pleasing, with the Spaniard joined by Gini Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in midfield.
In attack, the usual front-three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all included.
These Liverpool supporters have been reacting to the team on Twitter, with many liking the attacking nature of it.
Jordan Henderson at centre-back makes a lot of sense to me. Southampton press high and he can help #LFC massively in being able to play past that. Thiago, obviously, will also have a huge role to play in that. Huge news that he’s fit to start.

LFC trying to win the league with two midfielders playing CB, you love to see it haha
Strong XI though, great to see Thiago back!
Options on the bench too

Thiago, Wijnaldum and Chamberlain is a very exciting midfield three. Plenty of creativity in there.

Mad XI that, but I love it. So great to see Thiago back starting for the first time since the derby.
COME ON YOU REDS.
