Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly turned down the chance to have a documentary series recorded at the club.
The Daily Mail reports that Amazon approached Liverpool over the possibility of covering the club this season after the success of the eight-part series following Manchester City’s title-winning campaign.
The report claims that Amazon were interested in the idea of covering Liverpool’s title challenge, with many tipping the Reds to be City’s closest rivals this season or even go all the way.
However, Klopp was clearly keen to deflect any unwanted attention and unneeded pressure on his squad and turned down the approach, despite officials behind the scenes at Anfield appearing keen on the idea.
Amazon are now likely to turn their attention to Bayern Munich following Liverpool’s decision, according to the report.
City’s All or Nothing series has been criticised in some parts of the media but has largely been considered as a big success, showing unparalleled levels of behind the scenes access.
