Liverpool reject offer from Napoli for Alberto Moreno

Liverpool have rejected an £11million bid from Napoli for Alberto Moreno.

According to multiple sources, the Serie A side made an offer for the Spaniard but Liverpool rejected it as they are looking for around £15million for the left-back.

As reported by Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, there is plenty in Moreno with AC Milan and Inter Milan in for him as are his former side Sevilla.

Moreno’s Liverpool career does look like it has come to an end with Jurgen Klopp preferring to use James Milner at left-back. There have been numerous reports linking the Reds with left-backs such as Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon, Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Hull’s Andy Robertson.

Time will tell if any of the interested sides come back with bids that match Liverpool’s valuation, but it does look like just a matter of time before Moreno’s time as a Reds’ player comes to an end.
