Liverpool will face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the hunt to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.
French outlet L’Equipe, as cited on Bleacher Report, say the Blues are considering a move for the in-demand Frenchman.
Rabiot is being heavily linked with moves away from Paris Saint-Germain as he enters the final months of his contract with the club.
The midfielder will be free to discuss terms with clubs from January onwards, should he not sign a new deal.
Liverpool and Barcelona have been leading the way to sign the player, with various claims that contact has been made by both clubs.
The report claims that the player will consider all of his options ahead of making a decision on his future, with several teams alerted by his availability.
Rabiot has often been linked with moves away from PSG in the past in a bid to nail down a regular starting space in a team.
