Liverpool’s deal to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon is said to be ‘progressing well’, according to Dean Jones from Bleacher Report.
The Reds are expected to reignite their interest in the French playmaker after a deal to sign him fell through at the last minute earlier in the transfer window.
Fekir had been earmarked as a key transfer target, but concerns about the player’s fitness and injury record saw the move collapse.

Lyon’s Jean-Michel Aulas has been very vocal following the failed moved to Anfield and he has talked up the chances of Fekir joining Liverpool this summer.
The Reds have reportedly be given a deadline to complete a deal that will allow Lyon to complete their own preparations for the new campaign.
It was expected that any deal would be held up by the World Cup, with Fekir’s France reaching the final and beating Croatia to become world champions.
Liverpool will be free to step up their interest following the tournament’s conclusion.
