Liverpool’s trip to face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park has been rescheduled for a 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday 5th May.
The game, which is the Reds’ penultimate match of the league season, will now be shown live on Sky Sports.
The match, which could prove to be very crucial in the title race, will take place one day after Manchester City face Leicester City, as the game between the Citizens and the Foxes will now be played at 12:30 on Saturday 4th May.

Liverpool will be hoping for favours from two former managers in those games with the Reds coming up against Rafa Benitez and City facing a Leicester side now managed by Brendan Rodgers, who left Celtic to take over at the King Power Stadium.
It’s worth noting that both of these game could be moved again, depending upon any Champions League semi-final scheduling, provided City can get past Tottenham and Liverpool can beat Porto in their upcoming quarter-final clashes.
