Liverpool star Mohamed Salah says he would love for his former AS Roma teammate, Daniele De Rossi, to join him at Anfield.
De Rossi and Salah are good friends and played together in the Italian capital for two years, where they struck up a good bond.
The Egyptian, as we all know, then left to join Liverpool whist De Rossi stayed in Rome, playing out another two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 36-year-old was recently given a hero’s send-off by the Roma fans after he announced that he would be leaving the club after 18 seasons with them.

Unlike another Roma legend, Francesco Totti, who retired as a one-club man in 2017, De Rossi reportedly intends to continue playing and as per Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Salah would love for him to move to Liverpool.
He said:
He is a legend of the club and of Italian football, not just because he is a great friend of mine. A future for him in the Premier League? It would be beautiful, but I don’t know if it’s possible. It would be pleasing for me to play with him again, he is an optimal player.
At age 36, it seems very, very unlikely that Jurgen Klopp would be interested in a move for De Rossi, so it seems that the only way Salah might see him on these shores is if the Italian moves to another Premier League club.
