Liverpool have received a welcome boost ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash against RB Salzburg with the news that Naby Keita will be fit for selection.
Keita has been dealing with an injury since the Community Shield and after playing an hour against MK Dons last week, he wasn’t even in the matchday squad for the weekend’s win over Sheffield United.
However, Liverpool held an open training session at Melwood on Tuesday afternoon and the Guinean took part in the session, with journalist Carl Markham confirming the news that Keita is expected to be involved in the clash against his former side.

Naby Keita’s Liverpool career so far has been very stop-start, with the midfielder battling with a number of different injuries.
