Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic has responded to the rumours linking him with a move to Liverpool by insisting that he is happy at his current club.
Speaking to Sport BILD, as cited by the Liverpool Echo, the 18-year-old admitted that he has seen the reports linking him with a move to Anfield but he is fully focused on the upcoming season for BVB.
He said:
Yes, I read [about Liverpool’s interest] too. What more can I say? I concentrate fully on the start of the season. I’m very happy in Dortmund. I do not think about a club change. I extended my contract at the beginning of the year until 2020.
Liverpool made a bid for the American international in January 2016 but it was swiftly rejected but the Reds have maintained their interest in him as he’s started to feature more prominently for the Bundesliga side.
There have been rumours linking him with a move to the Reds this summer but as it stands, such a move looks highly unlikely.
