Real Madrid midfielder and one-time Liverpool target Dani Ceballos would have pushed for a summer transfer if Zinedine Zidane remained in charge of the Spanish giants.
Speaking to Radio MARCA, the young Spaniard insisted he would have been forced to move on after failing to break into the team under the Madrid former boss.
During the regular season, I felt frustration and resentment towards Zidane. There was a moment in the season when both Kroos and Modric were injured but he opted to change the style of play to bring in others players instead.
It burns you a little and hurts you. We were 15 points behind Barca and only had the Champions League to look forward to but I also did not enter those dynamics.

Signed as a promising youngster at the Bernabeu, Ceballos found game time hard to come by and was linked with a move to Liverpool throughout the season, with the Reds searching for a Philippe Coutinho replacement.
While Real Madrid would have needed some convincing to let the young Spaniard leave, his frustrations show he was close to pushing for an early exit from the club.
Ceballos is highly thought of in Spain and is widely expected to achieve big things in La Liga after impressing at Real Betis, who were also linked with a move to re-sign the player.
