Liverpool fans love footage of Everton win on one-year anniversary

A number of Liverpool fans have been loving footage of the Reds’ 5-2 win over Everton last season, as the game celebrates its one-year anniversary.

The Blues made the trip to Anfield on December 4th, 2019, looking to cause an upset.

There was concern from some when Jurgen Klopp named a weakened starting lineup, with the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi starting for the hosts.

As it happened, however, Liverpool were exceptional against their local rivals, romping to victory and finding themselves 4-2 up at half-time.

Origi scored twice on the night, while Shaqiri, Sadio Mane and Gini Wijnaldum also got on the scoresheet, as Klopp’s men took another step towards winning a maiden Premier League title.

On Thursday, Liverpool’s official Twitter account posted footage of the game, celebrating the anniversary of yet another win over Everton.

These Reds supporters provided their thoughts on the action on Twitter, thoroughly enjoying watching it back.
