Liverpool are ‘likely’ to sign Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as their negotiations with the London club seem to be moving forward, according to a report on HITC.
The Independent believes that the young English player is moving closer to securing a move to Anfield as Arsenal look to offload a number of players this summer.
Liverpool have been linked with Chamberlain for many weeks and it seems that their £25m deal with the Gunners is progressing nicely following positive talks.

The Merseyside club secured the much anticipated signing of Mohamed Salah from AS Roma yesterday and are looking to add Chamberlain to the squad soon.
The winger was pretty much out of favour at Arsenal and has been used as a substitute for majority of his career at the Emirates, but he is hoping to find first team action every week at Merseyside.
Chamberlain only started 16 times in the league last season and came on as a substitute 13 times for Arsene Wenger’s side so you can understand his frustration.

The 23-year-old can also be deployed as a central midfielder, which is something that Klopp is keen on developing with Chamberlain should he sign for the Reds this summer.
One thing for sure, Klopp is keen on adding pace to his side and should Chamberlain come to Anfield, then the speed in his side would be scary for opposition defenders to face.
