Emre Can names his price to Liverpool with huge wage demands

Liverpool’s Emre Can is reportedly demanding £200,000-a-week to sign a contract extension at Anfield.

The Mirror reports that more talks are planned with the German international, but the club are unlikely to meet his eye-catching demands.

Can has already rejected a contract offer from the club after previous talks.

The midfielder is widely expected to leave the club at the end of the season with both Juventus and Bayern Munich keeping tabs on the player.

Juventus are reportedly leading the race to sign him and have been heavily linked with a move for Can in recent months.

Losing a player of Can’s calibre for nothing will come as a huge blow for the Reds, however, Jurgen Klopp has already prepared for his departure with Naby Keita set to join the club this summer.

Liverpool have a deal agreed from the summer for the midfielder to join at the end of the current campaign.
