Fekir and his agent set to fly in to Liverpool for talks

Liverpool appear to be edging ever closer to completing a deal for Lyon captain Nabil Fekir.

The Reds have been chasing the Frenchman in recent weeks and it seems they are closing in on the signing of Fekir, with Jurgen Klopp intent on bolstering his attacking options.

Liverpool’s interest in Fekir has been well-documented and it seems talks between the club and Lyon have progressed, with personal terms now set to be discussed, according to claims from France.

It’s revealed by Canal+ journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin via Twitter that Fekir and his agent will be flying into Liverpool this Sunday to stage further negotiations with representatives from the Reds to discuss the deal.

Collet-Gaudin states that the final details are expected to be sealed during the visit to Merseyside, with the potential of a medical in the offing if the talks between the two parties progress well.

Details of an agreed deal between Lyon and Liverpool along with any transfer fee are yet to be disclosed.
