Lazio are reportedly unwilling to say goodbye to goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha in this summer’s transfer window despite interest from Liverpool, report Calcio Mercato.
Liverpool’s ongoing search for a goalkeeper has resulted in the Reds being linked with various shot-stoppers, one of which was the 23-year-old Strakosha.
The Greek appeared in a mammoth 53 games for Lazio last season, and secured his reputation as an astonishingly quick and agile number one.

In addition to interest from Liverpool, German outfit Bayer Leverkusen had also been rumoured as a potential destination for the Athens-born Strakosha should he be sold by his club.
However, the Serie A team are not wanting to sell Strakosha just yet. Tender in age, the Europe League-bound club are willing to bet on the goalkeeper and hope he inflates his price-tag further.
Representing Albania at national level, Strakosha has received four caps since making his debut in 2016.
Liverpool are seeking to replace Loris Karius, whose mistakes condemned the Reds to a 3-1 defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
