The club have unveiled Alisson as their fourth arrival of the summer, following Xhedran Shaqiri, Fabinho and Naby Keïta.
Alisson has signed a four-year deal with the club, worth a reported €5.5m-per-season.
The club have been heavily linked with a move for Alisson throughout the summer and have now finally secured his signature.
The Brazil international was named as the best goalkeeper in the Serie A last season, after his impressive performances for Roma.
Jurgen Klopp was keen to bolster his goalkeeping options, following Loris Karius’ high-profile errors in recent months.
Alisson is now expected to come in as the undisputed number one for Liverpool ahead of the start of the Premier League season next month.
The 25-year-old made 49 appearances for Roma in all competitions last season, including two games against Liverpool in the Champions League.
