This summer will be a key turning point between Liverpool’s form last season and the upcoming campaign.

The Reds failed to defend their Premier League title and struggled throughout the season with form and injuries.

Next season, it seems as though the club are aiming to turn things around.

Despite the transfer window not being officially open yet, the Red have already completed their first summer signing.

Just over a week ago saw the announcement of French centre-back Ibrahima Konaté from RB Leipzig.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the club won’t be stopping at the signing of Konaté either…

As cited by Anfield Watch on Twitter, we are likely to see more signings on their way to the club this summer.

It will be great to see the Reds strengthen where they need too after some of the troubles last season.

The Reds have already been linked with plenty of other talent this summer in a number of positions.

One of those reports suggested that the club are set to announce the signing of RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka.

Further mentions have also linked Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, who is interested in a move to the Reds.

The Belgium midfielder would be a great addition and an obvious replacement for the outbound Georginio Wijnaldum.

Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović has also been linked with the club who looks like a great future prospect.

Whoever the club choose to sign in the summer, there is no doubt that they will make some quality additions.
