Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye has decided to leave the Anfield club at the end of the season, with a move to Lazio looking increasingly likely.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited on Sport Witness, the Dutchman is aware that his future chances in the first-team squad on Merseyside are likely to be limited.
Given the plethora of talent already in front of him at Anfield, it is hard to see where regular game time will come for the player, despite how highly he is rated by those at the club.
Lazio have been big admirers of the player for some time and the report claims that a first-team spot could be on offer in Italy as early as next season.
Liverpool have tried to renew the player’s contract, but their offer was rejected by Adekanye, who now looks set to leave the club for nothing in the summer.
