Manchester City are facing a huge injury concern ahead of their Champions League clash against Liverpool, with Sergio Aguero still struggling for fitness.
The Argentine striker has been in top form for City this season and has played a key role in helping them run away with the Premier League title, which they are likely to seal next weekend.
However, as quoted by the Independent, manager Pep Guardiola admitted that Aguero is facing a race against time to be fit for the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool at Anfield.

We will see. Still he didn’t train. Hopefully he is much better. We will see and in these situations it is day by day. I hope he can help us. Maybe not in the beginning but maybe the bench.
Aguero may well be fit enough to take up a place on the bench, but it seems Gabriel Jesus will be the man who leads the line for the Carabao Cup winners.
Jesus is in a rich vein of form at the moment, however, Guardiola is sure to be keen on having his key striker 100 per cent fit for a clash of such magnitude.
The Reds will be hoping to take advantage of City’s potential injury concerns by gaining a considerable advantage in the home leg, before they travel to the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of the Champions League clash.
