Liverpool’s chances of signing Alisson from Roma appear to have taken a big boost, with Brazilian news outlet UOL claiming that the goalkeeper is desperate to make the switch to Anfield.
Alisson has long been linked with a move to the Reds and it’s thought that the club have identified the Roma star as their top priority for the summer transfer window.
Roma are keen to retain Alisson’s services but may face a struggle now, with it claimed by UOL that a move to Anfield is the only thing on the shot-stopper’s mind ahead of the summer.
Real Madrid and PSG are both named as potential destinations for Alisson but it seems Liverpool are most likely to recruit the Brazil international as he seeks a big move at the end of the season.
The Reds are understood to be keen on accelerating their talks with Roma for Alisson as they aim to close a deal before the transfer window opens.
Liverpool would undoubtedly need to stump up a considerable sum of money in order to convince Roma to sell their star goalkeeper but after such a strong season in Serie A, it’s certainly arguable that Alisson would be worth his weight in gold.
