Christian Pulisic wants Liverpool move despite Chelsea offer

Borussia Dortmund winger and Liverpool target Christian Pulisic would reportedly prefer to move to Anfield than join Chelsea.

A report from the London Evening Standard has revealed that the Blues have lodged an official bid to sign the player after holding talks with the Bundesliga outfit over the weekend.

Dortmund remain keen to keep the player until the end of the season, but Chelsea are said to be hoping to try and convince the German side into selling in the new year.

Pulisic has been a long-term target for Chelsea and has always been viewed as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard, who is still yet to sign a new contract at the club.

Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of the player and could look to pursue a deal for the American at the end of the season.

Dortmund value the winger at £70 million, meaning any potential suitor for Pulisic is going to need to spend big to secure his services.
