De Bruyne names Salah as PFA Player of the Year

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has named free-scoring Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah as his PFA Player of the Year, the Daily Mail reports.

Salah is leading the way as the Premier League’s top goalscorer for the season and has been in electric form throughout the course of the 2017/18 campaign.

De Bruyne, too, has been a standout performer in the top flight. His displays from midfield have helped propel Manchester City to the top of the Premier League and they could win the league against Manchester United on Saturday.

All eyes are likely to be on De Bruyne and Salah, with the pair having clearly been their side’s top, respective performer.

The PFA Player of the Year award is likely to come down to the aforementioned duo, and it seems De Bruyne had no second thoughts about his nomination.
