Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes has praised his compatriot Alisson Becker following his strong start to life at Liverpool.
The Cityzens stopper was quizzed on his relationship with the Reds star as the pair continue to fight for the number one spot in Brazil’s national team under Tite.
Alisson has been more regularly utilised for his country but it seems City goalkeeper Ederson will be rewarded with a greater chance to shine in upcoming fixtures.
Both goalkeepers have enjoyed strong starts to the new campaign for their respective clubs and Ederson, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo, alluded to the quality of goalkeepers from Brazil.

I think there is a lot of similarity between the two of us, he is having a very positive start to the season at Liverpool. Here he is one step ahead of me, he played in a World Cup but that’s not a reason to work less.
Brazil is well served for goalkeepers, many who have not been to the World Cup are very good. Those who are picked will do a good job.
Alisson arrived at Anfield during the summer transfer window for what was then a record transfer involving a goalkeeper. He has since failed to disappoint, helping Liverpool enjoy an unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
Ederson, too, has been in stellar form, with Manchester City level on points with Liverpool but top of the Premier League on goal difference.
