Fabinho has been discussing the stylistic similarities between Liverpool and his former club Monaco.
Speaking to the Reds’ official matchday programme ahead of narrow 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday evening, as quoted by the Daily Mail, the Brazilian discussed how he is settling in on Merseyside.
Fabinho has not yet made a competitive appearance for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp looks to slowly introduce the midfielder to English football.
Nevertheless, the summer signing has been discussing how desperate he is to finally take to the field in the Premier League, with the player eyeing a debut.

Fabinho was quick to draw comparisons between his new club and Monaco and outlined the speed at which Liverpool transition play from defence to attack as a distinct similarity.
I’m aware it’s a different playing style than Monaco. There were two in midfield there whereas here at Liverpool, there’s usually three.
Monaco had a transition similar to Liverpool’s. I think the two teams can be compared in this way. Both of them have very fast transitions, with very fast players up front. I hope to be as important here as I was at Monaco.
Liverpool boss Klopp has developed a reputation for his entertaining footballing philosophy and it seems Fabinho is itching to be integrated into the Reds’ first-team plans.
