Completing the signing of Nabil Fekir from Lyon is no longer Liverpool’s priority this summer, according to claims from French news outlet Le Progres.
The Reds’ pursuit of Fekir has been well documented for many weeks now, but any deal appeared to be in doubt after the player allegedly failed to convince Liverpool’s medical staff of his longevity at the top-level.
Fekir’s history of injuries appeared to be a concern for the Reds, leading them to pull the plug on a big-money move to sign the Lyon star.

However, claims that a deal could be resurrected have surfaced in recent times, with indications that Liverpool could yet look to take a gamble on Fekir ahead of next season.
Le Progres, though, imply that this is not the case. It’s stated in the report that although interest from elsewhere is building regarding a move for Fekir, this is not the case for Liverpool.
The report claims that Fekir is not a top target for Jurgen Klopp anymore, indicating that perhaps a summer deal isn’t so likely, after all.
