Fekir will jump at the chance to join a bigger club says Lyon boss

Lyon boss Bruno Genesio says Nabil Fekir would jump at the chance to join a top European side.

According to a report by AS, Genesio says Fekir has aspirations to move on to bigger and better things.

He wanted to leave to go on a bigger club than Lyon and he had that opportunity with Liverpool. But knowing the situation today, I think he considers all the solutions. If he has an offer from a very big European club, of course he will chase the opportunity.

Fekir had been heavily linked with a summer move to Anfield, but a deal to join the Reds fell through at the last minute.

There have been various reports that explain why the move fell through, but it is unsure whether or not Liverpool will go back in for the player.

Real Madrid have also been touted as a possible destination for the French international, who is currently at the World Cup in Russia, preparing for the quarter-final clash with Uruguay.

It is yet to be seen whether or not Madrid will step up their interest in the player who scored 22 goals in all competitions for Lyon last season.
