Harry Wilson injures his shoulder whilst on loan at Hull City

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, who is currently on loan at Hull City, is set to miss about a month’s worth of action after he injured his shoulder whilst playing for the Tigers against Chelsea last week.

The Welshman landed awkwardly after competing for a high ball and as a result, he injured the ligaments in his shoulder, as reported by the Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce.

The injury led to him missing Hull’s 3-1 loss to Middlesbrough last night and it looks like he won’t be fit to return to action until the end of March.

The news will come as a blow to Wilson, who went out on loan to get regular first team minutes after regularly tearing up the U23 league whilst at Liverpool.

The injury also spells bad news for Hull as they’ll be without the 20-year-old for a significant period of time and they are, as it stands, in a relegation battle at the bottom of the Championship.

They sit in 21st place and are only above the relegation zone on goal difference, so they’ll be keen to get Wilson back fit and firing as soon as possible.
