Some Liverpool fans have laid into Harry Kane, following another dive from the Tottenham striker.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw away to Wolves on Sunday evening, acting as a boost to the Reds, following their frustrating result by the same scoreline at home to West Brom.
Kane went down embarrassingly easily late in the game, looking for a penalty when it was clear that there was no contact.
It is a part of the 27-year-old’s game that seems to get curiously overlooked by many, with his status as England captain arguably leading to him being given leeway by both the media and referees.
Whereas the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are criticised endlessly if they go down too easily – even if they are actually fouled – nothing is said when Kane is the guilty party.
These Liverpool supporters responded to the Spurs star’s dive, highlighting the double standards of many.
