Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on bringing Bundesliga midfielder Kerem Demirbay to Anfield in January, according to the Daily Express.
The Hoffenheim star, who appeared for Germany in the Confederations Cup last year, has been a standout performer in Germany’s top division this season, helping his side to sixth in the league, four points off second placed side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 25-year-old’s creative displays have caught the eye of Klopp, who is open to the possibility of bringing the midfielder to Merseyside in the New Year.

Demirbay is capable of playing as a ball winning midfielder, or further forward as a creative playmaker, something that reportedly appeals to the Liverpool boss.
After joining Hoffenheim from Dusseldorf back in 2016, Demirbay has been a consistent performer in the Bundesliga and has turned out over 60 times for his current side.
However, if Liverpool are to secure Demirbay’s services, they are expected to be challenged by numerous clubs around Europe, who are also thought to be monitoring the energetic midfielder.
