Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted that something ‘crazy’ would have to happen in order for The Reds to add to the squad when the transfer window opens in January, the Liverpool Echo report.
After a tremendous start to the league campaign, Liverpool enter the weekend’s fixtures in second place, trailing reigning champions Manchester City on goal difference.
New additions Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho have impressed the Anfield faithful over recent weeks, after patiently waiting for their first-team chance.

Due to Liverpool’s dominant start to the season, Klopp, who was talking to the media ahead of the crucial fixture away at Arsenal, played down rumours of any incomings, suggesting something drastic would have to happen in order for The Reds to act in the window.
If crazy things happen then maybe we have to think new but I don’t expect that.
At the moment it doesn’t look like we will be too busy but it all depends on injuries and things like that. In the moment we have each position twice, three times and sometimes four times covered.
I don’t think there is any reason to try to do something really big like bring in another striker.
We have all that we need. Our job now is to use the quality that we have and to work with it because one player doesn’t change it.
Klopp has more options in midfield and in attack this season, so if The Reds go through the festive period injury free, the club look set to resist temptation in the January sales.
