Lazio are reportedly keen on a deal to recruit Marko Grujic from Liverpool this summer.
According to reports from Italy, the Serie A giants are plotting a move for the promising Reds midfielder as they gear up for the likely departure of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The powerful midfielder is a summer target for Real Madrid and Juventus, and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the Lazio star.
This appears to have prompted Simone Inzaghi and his recruitment team to make contingency plans in preparation for the player’s departure, with Grujic among the options being considered.
It’s likely that the midfielder will be loaned out, or perhaps even sold, this summer as Liverpool are set to be well-stocked with central midfield options ahead of next season.
Grujic impressed throughout the recently concluded campaign with Cardiff City, as he helped the Bluebirds secure promotion to the Premier League during his successful loan spell in Wales.
