Liverpool are reportedly amongst a plethora of European giants interested in signing teenage striker Silas Wamangituka from Ligue 2 outfit Paris FC.

The 19-year-old has impressed this season and has found the back of the net on eight occasions in his 25 league appearances for Paris FC as they seek promotion into France’s top division.

Multiple sides across Europe such as Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Marseille, Schalke, Fiorentina, Olympiakos and Lille have all been tracking the Congo-born forward’s situation in recent months.

And according to French media outlet GFFN, cited by Sports Lens, the Reds have now joined the race for the dynamic forward and are thought to be keeping a close eye on the teenager, along with Spanish giants Barcelona.

Wamangituka’s main strengths are his electric pace and impressive technical ability, and with the right guidance, will only improve year by year.

And with the likes of Bobby Duncan and Rhian Brewster already shining in the Reds’ bright academy, securing the services of another talented teenage forward such as Wamangituka may well prove tough, but doing so would only benefit the club’s attacking options in the future.
