Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has labelled Liverpool as ‘vulnerable’ following the draw for the Champions League round of 16.
It was revealed on Monday that the Bundesliga giants will go head to head with Jurgen Klopp’s side in the knockout stages of the illustrious competition.
Liverpool finished in second place in Group C behind Paris Saint-Germain, leaving them with the inevitability of a testing fixture in the next round.
Bayern, meanwhile, topped Group E as they put their domestic struggles behind them.
Neuer spoke to the German club’s official website, as cited in a report from FourFourTwo, and insisted that the date with Liverpool is not a daunting prospect for his side.

The experienced goalkeeper said:
They’re having a very good season and we know they were in the Champions League final last year.
They certainly won’t be delighted with the draw, either. They can counter quickly and they’re dangerous in front of goal, but they’re also vulnerable, as we’ve seen, and they’ll be up against a good Bayern attack.
It’ll be a great game both at Liverpool and also at home at the Allianz Arena.
Niko Kovac’s side have been unconvincing in the Bundesliga this season and trail table-topping Borussia Dortmund by nine points as they sit in third place.
Liverpool, however, are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League.
