Liverpool are said to be optimistic about the chances of defender Trent Alexander-Arnold featuring against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
Writing for The Times, Paul Joyce explains that the Reds believe that he will be fit to feature after struggling with a back problem.
There had been some concerns that the young defender could be forced to sit out, but that no longer appears to be the case.
Having Alexander-Arnold fit and available will come as a huge boost to the Reds as they head out ot Munich for the second leg.

Given that the defender has already missed a section of the season, Jurgen Klopp will be fully aware of the difference he makes to the Liverpool team, both defensively and going forward.
Liverpool’s Champions League clash against the German champions is finely poised, with the Reds needing either a win or a score draw to progress after the first leg ended 0-0 at Anfield.
