Liverpool have distanced themselves from rumours linking Serbian striker Luka Jovic with a move to Anfield.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds are not in the running to sign the player who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Benfica.
The former are planning on signing the player on a permanent basis at the conclusion of his loan deal in Germany, but his performances have not been going unnoticed.
As part of a two-year loan deal, Frankfurt have an option to buy the player.

Jovic is currently the Bundesliga’s top goalscorer with nine goals to his name this season.
His fine form in front of goal has resulted in links to both Bayern Munich and Barcelona, while Liverpool were also credited with an interest.
However, the report claims that Jurgen Klopp’s hopes for both Dominic Solanke and Rhian Brewster mean the club are not looking to strengthen in the final third anytime soon.
