Liverpool and Manchester City have both made enquires about deals to sign Trabzonspor’s Abdulkadir Omur.
According to reports in Turkey, as cited on Sport Witness, the Premier League duo are not only battling it out for the title but Omur’s services too.
Both are reportedly keen to discover how much it would take to lure the player to England, as his reputation rises in Turkey.
The report claims that Italian outfit AS Roma are also in contention to sign the player, who is said to be valued at around €30 million.
The 19-year-old is already attracting a wealth of interest after being dubbed as ‘the Turkish Messi’ from a young age.
Able to play centrally or out wide, Omur is proving to be a promising talent for the future.
The report suggests a summer deal is more likely, with the Turkish side unwilling to lose the player as they push for the league title this season.
