A number of Liverpool fans have lambasted Trent Alexander-Arnold, following a dreadful performance against Burnley.
The Reds’ long unbeaten home run in the Premier League came to an end on Thursday evening, with Ashley Barnes’ late penalty earning the Clarets a 1-0 win.
It was the latest in a string of woeful displays by Liverpool, who were completely out of sorts throughout the game, and their hopes of defending their league title now look slim.
Jurgen Klopp’s side dominated possession, but more often than not, they did nothing with it, rarely looking dangerous.
Alexander-Arnold got on the ball countless times, but his end product was appalling, with constant crosses failing to clear the first man.
The 22-year-old is in a pitiful run of form at the moment, looking a far cry from the player who has lit up Anfield in recent years.
These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to bemoan the right-back’s performance.
Genuinely think that Trent performance is one of the worst I’ve ever seen in a Liverpool shirt. Would have rather had Johnny Vegas on the pitch

If ever one moment summed up the form of a player, it was Trent's pass into touch in stoppage time, under no pressure at all.
This is the worst he has ever played by a considerable distance – confidence and fitness levels look completely shot.

Trent Alexander-Arnold attempted 18 crosses tonight, he didn’t complete one. pic.twitter.com/P5zMmjUWyU

Think there’s too much pressure on Trent to be the only creative outlet atm and it’s showing
Some off form and the team doesn’t know what to do
Salah was great creatively earlier on but seems he’s been instructed to get in the box more

At this point Trent's crosses are practically passes to the keeper.

Play Milner at RB against United. Had enough of looking at Trent for now ta. He's been so bad it's almost laughable.
