Liverpool appear to be edging ever closer to completing a deal for Lyon star Nabil Fekir.
According to a report from Melissa Reddy for JOE, the Reds are closing in on an agreement with the Ligue 1 giants as they grow increasingly keen to tie up a deal before the World Cup.
It’s stated that Liverpool want to land Fekir before the France squad jet off to Russia next week for the tournament.

The Reds are hoping to close a deal worth an approximate total of £60m by the end of the weekend, as per the report, despite Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas insisting that there is some way to go yet in terms of negotiations.
Fekir has emerged as a top target for Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp keen to bolster his attacking options. Xherdan Shaqiri is also set to join the club from Stoke in the near future.
The playmaker would undoubtedly be an exciting signing for the Reds as they continue to push ahead with their summer business.
