Liverpool are set to make a fresh swoop for Roma goalkeeper Alisson this summer, according to the Telegraph.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian international over the course of the season and it seems a summer pursuit could be on the cards.
Alisson enjoyed an excellent season with Roma in Serie A and cemented his place in Tite’s plans for Brazil’s World Cup campaign in Russia this summer.
Roma are intent on keeping hold of Alisson ahead of next season, however, and prising him away from the Italian giants is sure to be a tough task for Liverpool this summer.
Following the errors committed by Loris Karius in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday, it seems as though the Reds’ desire to recruit a new goalkeeper this summer has only been intensified.
It’s believed that Alisson remains Liverpool’s preferred goalkeeping signing this summer, with Jurgen Klopp understood to be a keen admirer of the player’s talents.
