Liverpool have reportedly stolen a march in the race to sign promising goalkeeper Andriy Lunin this summer.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Reds are now leading the race to secure the 19-year-old’s services, with the shot-stopper set to be hot property in the upcoming transfer window.
Lunin is currently plying his trade in his homeland of Ukraine, featuring for Zorya Luhansk. He has turned in a number of impressive performances and as a result of this, several clubs across Europe are understood to be interested.

It’s claimed by the Mirror that the acquisition of Lunin would be with the view of him featuring for Liverpool in the future, and not for the here and now.
The young goalkeeper made his debut for Ukraine only two months ago and in recent times, it seems as though Liverpool have accelerated their pursuit of the former Dnipro prospect.
Liverpool appear to be set to fend off competition from Leicester and Watford, with the Reds keen to close a deal for Lunin as soon as possible.
